How Can The Pre-Paid Credit Card Help You When You Are In A Financial Mess?
Paying only the minimum amount back on your credit card debt each payment cycle is soon enough going to lead you into some trouble, unless you change the habit. It will become so that you are borrowing money from elsewhere to pay back your credit cards, and as such other bills may not get paid. In other words, this is a vicious circle.
What to do though? There is certainly no quick fix to this situation. Possibly it could take some years to get back to how things were before, who knows. However, there are a few things you can begin doing now to help make the path smoother.
What this means is that you are not borrowing money any more and thus cannot fall on hard times any more. You are using only the money you have that is yours and not borrowing. As difficult as it may seem right now to go down this road, its actually a safe way to move forward, while at the same time you can make repairs to a tarnished credit record, if thats what you now have.
You see, the pre-paid card is there to help you manage your money better, which right now is something that has to be done rather than through choice. In the early days this will not be easy and it does take some getting used to - I’ve had to do it myself. Its not easy when at one time not long ago you could easily go out and spend whatever you wish, within reason of course, whereas now you are counting every penny.
You may well have the scenario where you are at the front of a long queue in a shop only to find they do not accept your card. Embarrassment or what?! Never mind, we’ve all been there for one reason or another. The use of the pre-paid card need only be for a while until you get your finances back on track. After that, you can either keep on using the pre-paid or you can put it in the drawer and safely forget about it. If there is no money in the account, even if you lose the card, there is nothing to worry about.
